Disruptive Innovation Festival (DIF) 2nd – 20th November 2015

The Disruptive Innovation Festival is curated by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and in 2015 will take place over three weeks from 2nd – 20th November.

The DIF brings together thought-leaders, entrepreneurs, businesses, makers, learners and doers to catalyse system-level change for a future economy. Over three weeks, using a mix of online and face to face events, participants have an abundance of opportunities to explore the economy through a different lens. We want to share all the ways you and our partners are challenging the linear ‘take make and dispose’ model of the economy, replacing it by a more prosperous regenerative and circular economy – is this the ultimate disruption?

Examples of some of the broad themes that encompass this are:

– Design Innovation
– Systems Thinking
– 21st Century Science
– Materials and Energy
– New Business Models
– Entrepreneurship
– Sharing Economy
– Internet of Things

Last year there were over 200 sessions and 23,000 session views from 170 countries on the DIF website in the inaugural Festival. Most sessions will take place online at thinkdif.co, if it is a physical event then you will need to register via the session page in advance. Click here to view the full schedule.

Sign-up here to access all the online sessions for free and get recommendations for sessions that will be of most interest to you. Is that design & engineering, business & innovation, education & training, or all of the DIF themes? You tell us.

Get involved

If you have insights, stories or ideas to share, then you can get involved by applying to host an Open Mic session or Big Top Tent. For more details see the Contributors page on how to apply.
