Inclusive Technology Prize – Closing soon!£50k prize for enterprises and individuals to create new technologies, products and services that will enable disabled people equal access to life’s opportunities. The aim of the Inclusive Technology Prize is to inspire technological innovation from individuals and small businesses to improve or develop assistive living aids, adaptations, products and systems that will make a real difference to the lives of disabled people. We are keen to receive entries particularly from disabled people, user groups, community groups, the maker community, designers, students and assistive technology professionals. Groups and organisations do not have to be legally constituted to enter. If an unincorporated association or group is selected as a finalist, they will be supported to become constituted. The competition is using the SBRI competition process, (Small Business Research Initiative) which offers opportunities for businesses, especially early-stage and SMEs to develop and demonstrate technology to public sector funded challenges. Please visit the Inclusive Technology Prize website for further information. Deadline for applications is 12pm (noon) Friday 16 January 2015. |
